Falling Short

I don't approve of T20 to be a great test of an individual or a team strength , so i wouldn't have felt if the Indians didn't win the cup ..heck i would have even not worried were they knocked out in the super eights..but the manner in which they went down disappoints me ...they have been technically found-out and it was frustrating to watch that such talented youngsters couldn't even rectify their one single flaw even on the second chance...windies have brought back memoirs of ganguly(remember those countless short-pitched balls he received for over a year ages ago) ..their failure against windies could have been pardoned cos they banged the balls in suddenly and swiftly, but with England(with much slower bowlers) they should have definitively rectified that ,becos failures for a batsmen are acceptable but not on similar deliveries, this not only cost them the game but probably their cricketing future (when such talent like" raina" cant handle a short ball it really worries) ..also i find dhoni to be too defensive in his captaincy (sending yuvraj too late out of fear, and inexperienced jadeja up) along with his batting(which has become unsuitable even for tests),only consolation was bowlers have not been worked out by any team....final word loss in T20 is not a big thing(at least for me) , but unless the batsmen strengthen technically India are under a real threat in the tougher forms of the game....

The Horror The Horror

My intentions for the last one week was to watch some good Asian horror movies..Horror has been been surprisingly my favorite genre that's what pulled me into foreign movies (with Jurassic park starting it) ....Imo consider that action& horror are the toughest genres for any director to master .....surprisingly Asian movies(esply japan) have excelled in both ....

Have to regret that i have not seen a single film in the last week and hence this post is not about horror films.....this is primarily about the my personal horrors that prevented me from watching them..

to start of i had to travel to my native with only 2 days left for ashley placements to attend a function at my native..the reason was there was a function at my native in the village temple with occurs once in roughly a decade , btw i am a near atheist so i didn't travel there out of my divine passion , i went there to see all broken relatives and my childhood friends.....
now i did get to see many friends & relatives but the horror stuck in becos many were in a pitiful state, anyway to spend time with all i had to follow the so called "SAAMI OORVALAM "..now since this a voilent deity the ritual took place at night with all women & kids chased home...lights were put-out, vehicle stopped ...it began peacefully with Violent chants by the members from certain traditional families ..about 10 pm AADU BALI took place ok this was not unsettling as i have seen it prior..then as the march started chickens were killed &hurled all over (with one landing on me)..this was manageable ...unsettling started when pig piercing began ,the place was so crowded that i had to peep through the feet ,unfortunately the due to rescission they had gone for a small pig so it getting killed shook me..after this what happened really was the true horror in front of the temple next day a goat was bitten to death by the chosen men...good thing was it took place covered , but such sight in broad daylight was truly horror

apart from this i had the horror of being asked by strange people "do you know me?" since they were relatives i had a hard time pretending to know them ,some even embarrassed by asking my relation to them
after this then the next horror was that @ ashley i(strongly uninterested ) had chance to sit while many aspirants were not primarily due to the CGPA factor
, after all that i had to write it else it may hurt them more , so wrote the test throughout the test i had a fear of getting qualified for the interview if i wrote the apps randomly , (i usually have a luck factor in such stuff) , anyway the people @ashley had better measures to tackle, so i was relieved

even after that it was sad too see how only few get selected out of many hard workers, failures even by hardworking guys induced a horror filled thought on my future..

ok i tried to escape all tat and relax myself in some net forums, there i had though time arguing with many racist aussies , hard to argue with such guys you may end up losing sanity momentarily ,overcoming all that i finally sat to watch Ringu before that as my ears were a heavy i tried to use an ear bud, but due to my hurry the sponge alone got stuck , so there was lying half deaf unable to watch a movie becos the doctor has advised me to keep my ear relaxed till 14th eve(note i watch movies@ home with only ear phones)......
anyway trying to my best to watch some cinematic horror too
